Notes |
- On The 1930 census, a 7 year old Enlow Horn was living in the home of Clyde Pascal Horn and Dollie Becton, along with siblings Corine, Oscar and Robert Glenn. Enlow's obituary (below) mentions him being survived by a brother Oscar. The obituary of his sister Corine, lists her survivors as brothers Enlow and Oscar, and that she was predeceased by brother Glenn.
Ancestry.com. U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2015 shows that Henry Enlow Horn, born 25 May 1922 in Bronson, Texas, instead shows Henry was born to Henry E. Horn and Dolly Smith.
To complicate things further, he was linked to parents Joseph Floyd HORN and Bertha Inez POWELL on Family Search. However, they lived in Haskell County versus Sabine County, and don't have a son Oscar, Their son Henry E Horn was also present on the 1920 census, whereas Henry Enlow's date of birth was 1922. So I believe this was done in error.
His FindAGrave memorial page does not link him to parents, nor does in obituary, below.
