- Services for Charles "Eleck" Kilcrease, 80, of San Augustine will be held at 3 p.m. today in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel in San Augustine. Interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Memorial Garden in San Augustine County. Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Kilcrease was born Aug. 16, 1937 in Hemphill and died Dec. 27, 2017 in San Augustine County.

Obituary of Charles Kilcrease
Charles "Eleck" Kilcrease, age 80, of San Augustine, passed from this life surrounded by his loving family at his residence in San Augustine.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2017, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, 316 West Columbia Street, San Augustine, Texas, with Bro. Cliff Durham and Rev Frank Holrath officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Memorial Garden in San Augustine County. Visitation will begin at 12 noon till 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel.
Charles was born to Willie Mae (Peveto) Kilcrease and Howard Kilcrease on August 16, 1937, in Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas. In his younger days, he loved skating, and that is where he met a young lady named Linda Kingsley. He married his best friend and love of his life, Linda (Kingsley) Kilcrease on December 24, 1960, just recently having celebrated 57 years of matrimony. He was employed as a Truckdriver for Temple and GD Edgar and Boilermaker for Chicago Bridge and Iron Wilson and Strickland, and was a member of the Rosevine Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Kingsley Kilcrease of San Augustine; daughters, Sheila Ponder of San Augustine; Sharon Brittian and her husband, Travis of Tenaha; his beloved grandchildren, Misty Evans of San Augustine; Christi Miller and her husband, Chad of Pineland; Marsha Kaye Gage of San Augustine; Jamey Brittain and his wife, Courtney of Tenaha and Charley Brittain of Tenaha; Great-grandchildren, Hunter and Jalyn Mosley of San Augustine; Jayeda, Aidan and Rylee Davis, all of San Augustine; Megan and Christopher Miller of Pineland; Payton Carpenter of Pineland and Austin Carpenter of Evansdale, Iowa; Great-great granddaugher, Addisyn Brooks of Hemphill; Sister and Brother-in-law, Joyce and J.O. Davis of Pineland; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Buster and Mozelle Kingsley of Broaddus along with numerous nieces and nephews, and other family members.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Howard and Willie Mae Kilcrease; brothers, J.W.; Jack; and Tom Kilcrease; and sisters, Ruth Jones; Lydie Horton and Maggie Dearman.
Pallbearers will include, Ronnie Horton; Jerald Kilcrease, Ricky Mott, Ryan Roberts, Clifford Kingsley and Ken Kilcrease, Jr., Honorary Pallbearers, Chad Miller; Hunter Mosley; Christopher Miller; Austin Carpenter; Jamey Brittain; Charley Brittain; John Austin Smith; Aidan Davis; Rylee Davis and Aric Evans
