Kurt Hanes funeral held Saturday
Funeral services for Kurt Richard Hanes, 78, of Snover, were held Saturday at the Hacker Funeral Parlors in Sandusky. Officiating were Rev. Charles Kitchenmaster and Rev. Allen Lewis of Snover. Burial was in Elkland Township Cemetery. Hanes died last Wednesday at his home near Snover after a long illness. The son of Samuel and Richard HANES, he was born in Vincennes, Ind. Surviving are his wife, the former Lena JOOS of Cass City; two sons, George of Indiana and Raymond of Sandusky; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Fay Lou) VINCENT of Indiana and Mrs. Eric (Patricia) HERRMANNS of California; six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
