  Notes	The Sabine County Reporter September 14, 1994, Page 10 Burlie McGown Arnold Funeral services for Burlie Jane McGown Arnold, 93, of Hemphill were held Saturday, Sept. 3, 1994, at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill with Bro. Aldous Smith officiating. Interment followed in the Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Geneva. She died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at Twin Lakes Care Center in San Augustine. Mrs. Arnold was born Aug. 9, 1901, in Milam and had been a lifelong resident of the Hemphill/Milam area. She was a member of the Geneva United Methodist Church and a retired homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Arnold, in 1984; a son, Dewey Wilton Arnold, in 1988; and a grandson. Survivors: daughters, Bonnie Blackerby of Hemphill and Reba Hankla of San Augustine; a son, Thomas H. Arnold of Nederland; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
