  Notes	The Sabine County Reporter October 27, 1999, Page 12 Ethel Bennett Ethel Bennett, 87, of Hemphill died Oct. 23, 1999, at her residence. Mrs. Bennett was born Sept. 3, 1912, in Yellowpine as a daughter of the late William Harvey and Amanda (Travis) Crowell and had been a lifelong resident of Sabine County. She was a retired U.S. Postal Service worker and a member of the U. S. Postal Service Retirees. She had been a member of the Yellowpine Baptist Church for 73 years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Bennett. Funeral services were held at 11 a.. Tuesday at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill with Bro. Wayne Alford officiating. Intermnet followed in Hemphill City Cemetery.
