- Jimmy Doyle Stewart, 70, of Yellowpine, died Saturday morning in the Mount Moriah Health and Rehabilitation Facility in Hemphill, Texas. Jimmy was born in Hemphill to Paul and Viola Impson Stewart. He worked as a machine operator in the chicken house industry before retiring.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter Nancy Ponder and her husband Michael of San Augustine, his grandchildren Hunter and Allison, his sister Carolyn Thomason and her husband Curtis of Hemphill, his brothers; Johnny Paul Stewart, Phillip Stewart, Ronny Stewart and his wife Bonnie all of Yellowpine, Texas.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM, Sunday, October 26, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Monday, October 27, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Yellowpine Cemetery, Yellowpine, Texas.
