  Notes	Florence Edna Kubicek, the daughter of Ray Fitzwater and Belle McComas, was born on July 30, 1909 at Stet, Missouri. She passed away on February 28, 2003 in Hastings at the age of 93 years, 6 months and 28 days. Florence attended School in the Oak area, and was a member of the Christ's Lutheran Church in Davenport, NE. and the Happy Home Extension Club of Davenport. Florence was united in marriage to Jimmie E. Kubicek on December 28, 1927 at Clay Center, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jimmie on August 5, 1978, a brother Cecil Fitzwater and a sister Opal Kubicek. She is survived by her children, Gary Kubicek and wife JoAnnette and Ellen Overturf and husband Billy all of Oak, NE. Four grandchildren, Pam Pearson, Kay Knutson, Kimberly Sizer and Mitchell Kubicek. Four great-grandchildren, Beth Schweitzer, Kara Knutson, Scott Pearson and Reese Pearson. Two sisters, Lillian Jensen of Superior, NE and MaeB Milligan of Springfield, MO along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at 10:00 AM from the Klawitter-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Nelson, NE with Pastor Ruth Boettcher officiating. Music was "In The Garden" and "Rock of Ages", with Deb Johnson as organist. Pallbearers were Richard Knutson, Randy Pearson, Tim Sizer, Mitchell Kubicek, Reese Pearson and Scott Pearson. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery at Nelson, NE. Memorials may go to the Christ's Lutheran Church in Davenport, NE. Klawitter-Price Funeral Home of Nelson was in charge of the arrangements.
