Alma Lee Williams
Alma Lee Williams, 74, of Jasper died Tuesday, Sept. 24, in Jasper.
She had lived in Jasper since 1955 and was a native of Almadane, Louisiana.
Survivors: her daughters, Linda WHITTON and Jo Ann McGREGOR, both of Jasper, Melba STANGE and Brenda WARD, both of Brookeland, Marjorie Y'BARBO fo Kirbyville, and Alma Louise MARTIN of Evadale; a son, James C. WILLIAMS of Jasper; sisters, Belvia JENNISCHE of Kountze and Verna CROCKER of Dallas; brothers, John Arthur DRYDEN of Buna and Luther Edward DRYDEN of Kansas City, Missouri; 27 grandchildren and 37 great-granchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home--Jasper Chapel. Interment followed at Weeks Chapel Cemetery in Newton County.
