  Notes	Frank was married twice. He had seven children by his first wife, Mary Kroupa, and married a second time to Josefa Marc. Frank and Josefa, along with his children from his first marriage, came to America in 1881. They purchased the NW 1/4 of Section 29 in Liberty Township from William Hart for $1600 on June 28, 1881. The Kansas City and Omaha Railroad Company purchased a strip of land 100 feet wide through the northeast corner of this quarter on March 28, 1887, paying them $142. The railroad was built on this strip from McCool Junction to Fairbury. Frank Bures had a brother, Vaclav, and three sisters who came to America. Marie who was married to Victor HRANAC; Anna, who was married to Frank KUCERA, and after his death she married Matej VOTIPKA and Josie, who was married to John BARNAS, and after his death to Frank PROKOP.
