It is ASSUMED that the James McLemore that is his father is a son of Young Leander McLemore, as another son of Young Leander, John Wesley, was also in Somervell County around this time period. This should be verified through an obituary or census records. John Alvin was listed as born in Somervell County. His residence at the time of his death was Tolar, and his occupation was farming. He was married, and the informant was his wife, Mrs. J. A. McLemore. When he registered for the draft during World War I, he was a resident of Sommervell County. His DOB was instead shown as 11 Mar 1884.
