- Rev. William P. McLemore shows that he attended Mississippi A & M College from 1926-1927, and later received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1928 from Sewanee (source: Sewanee Alumni directory).
At the time of the 1930 Federal census, a Price McLemore, age 25, Single, born in Mississippi with parents born in Tennessee and Mississippi, was the Manager of a General farm, and living alone in Beat 4 of Washington County, Mississippi (ED 76-16, SD 4, Sheet 13B). His father's 1941 obituary indicated he was a levy construction engineer of Elaine, Arkansas.
Rev. William P. McLemore also wrote that the 1944 Naval Reserve Reporter showed Price as LTJG commissioned in 1942. He married Vivian Hunter Loggins on 4 Apr 1946. He was at one-time the construction superintendent for H. N Rogers and Sons, Memphis, TN. Said to have died ca. October 1951 in Lake Charles, LA.
His grave marker is engraved "Lieutenant CEC USNR, World War II."
