  Notes	Her obituary, in the Friday, September 8, 1933 issue of the Cass City Chronicle noted she "died afer a long illness, during which she was always patient and cheerful....she was born in Lancaster, New York, and when three years of age, came with her parents to Elkland Township...making her home on the Helwig farm, four miles north and two miles east of Cass City, until April of this year when she went to Bad Axe to live with her sister."
