Bobby Joy Partin Laird
Bobby Joy "Goodie" Partin Laird, 71, of Nacogdoches died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 1996, in Nacogdoches.
Born July 29, 1925, in Cushing as a daughter of the late George and Edna Mae Partin, she was a member of the North Street Church of Christ.
Survivors: husband, Arlon E. "Buddy" Laird of Nacogdoches; a son, Lynn M. Laird of Nacogdoches; daughters, Shawn Burns of Lufkin, Tania Watson and Venetia Lunsford, both of Nacogdoches; brothers Gerald Partin and Ralph Partin, both of Nacogdoches; a sister Wynodean Meazles of Brazoria; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Laird & McGill Funeral Home's chapel in Nacogdoches with Bill Sherrill officiating. Interment followed at Sunset Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Nacogdoches Treatment Center, 119 Hughes, Nacogdoches or Harvest House, c/o North Star Church of Christ, 3914 North St., Nacogdoches, TX 75961.
