Kerry had a grand talent for playing the guitar and singing, which his friends truly enjoyed over the years. Mr. Hawkins is survived by his son, R.J. Hawkins of Lufkin, mother, Melba Hawkins of Nederland, brother, Lynn Hawkins and wife Judy of Nederland, nephew, Chris Hawkins and wife Jamie of The Woodlands, and his very special and devoted friends, Charlie and Susan Streetman of Nederland. The family will honor Kerry's wishes to be cremated.
