- Michael Haynes, a grandson, emailed in June 2009 that "Eugene and Mary Jane left Kansas to find work, went to Georgetown (part of Seattle) then moved to McMurray (Skagit County) Washington. Buried in Everett, Evergreen Cemetary lot 37 near the flagpole. Funeral by Bauer Funeral Home. Reportedly attended Methodist Church in Snohomish, Washington. Was cremated. Erma Haebe said Mina had a brother Omer and a sister Blanche. Lebanon is in either Coone or Boone County, Snohomish and Everett are in Snohomish County. Buried in Evergreen Cemetary in Everett."
