- Charles Edward Forse, 82, of Pineland, passed away in his home Wednesday afternoon. He was born in Jasper, Texas, to Beamon and Velma McDaniel Forse. Charles served in the United States Army. Afterwards he was a miner for a uranium mining company in Grants, New Mexico, before retiring and moving back to Pineland, Texas.
He is survived by his sons; Randy Forse of Rosevine, Texas, Jim Forse of Shreveport, Louisiana, his daughter Vera Catron and her husband Tim of Rosevine, Texas, his brother David Forse of Pineland, Texas, his sister Ruby Rhode of Missouri, his grandchildren; Damon Anderson in the United States Air Force, and James Anderson attending Texas A&M.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Ruby Forse, his brothers; Roy Forse, Tom Forse, and Ted Forse.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM, Sunday, December 7, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Monday December 8, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Rosevine Cemetery.
