- Nancy Ann Forse, 57, of Bronson, Texas passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at her residence.
Nancy was born April 27, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to Pat Hanson. They moved to Sabine County early in her life where they lived at San Augustine Park. In her teenage years, she moved in with Barbara and Johnny Williamson at San Augustine Park where they finished raising her as one of their own. Nancy considered Barbara and Johnny as parents.
Nancy married David Forse of Pineland, Texas in 1984 and together they had two boys, Dustin Forse and Anthony Forse. In later years of life, Nancy would find Charles Dickerson of Bronson, Texas where she spent her remaining time with him. Nancy and Charles like to chase pipelines.
If there was one thing for sure about Nancy, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Nancy had lots of friends in her lifetime. She never met a stranger. She also had a love for animals.
Nancy was a lifelong member of Bethel Chapel Baptist Church in Pineland.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Dickerson, of Bronson, Texas; son, Anthony Forse and wife, Denise, of Pineland, Texas; mother, Barbara Williamson; daughters, Charla Sowell of Tenaha, Texas and Brooke Dickerson of Hemphill, Texas; brothers, Billy Hanson of Brookeland, Texas, Bobby Hanson of North Carolina, Jimmy Hanson of Lumberton, Texas, Mike Williamson of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Steve Williamson of Pineland, Texas; sisters, Cindy Stillwell of North Carolina and Lisa Welch of Pineland, Texas; nephews, Ray Craig of Pineland, Texas, Darrell Williamson and Mike Williamson, Jr., also of Pineland, Joseph Stillwell and Billy Stillwell of North Carolina and Tyler Hanson of Brookeland, Texas; nieces, Sarah Stillwell and Angel Stillwell of North Carolina, Felicia Craig of Pineland, Texas, Kendra Williamson, Sheena Moody and Maegan Williamson; grandchildren, Haylee Forse, Karalyne Forse, and Gabby Collins of Pineland, Texas, Zack and Allisa Retherford of Bronson, Texas, Japhen Walker, Gracie Walker, and Caden Sowell, all of Bronson; and Saren Shivers.
Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Dustin Forse; brother, Wayne Williamson; dad, Johnny Williamson; mother, Pat Hanson; and grandson, Issac Shivers.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Bethel Chapel Baptist Church in Pineland, Texas.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2019 at Bethel Chapel Baptist Church under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro Brad Forrest officiating.
Burial will follow services in Bethel Chapel Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Ray Craig, Michael Williamson, Jr., Kris Hardy, Butch Ellison, Darrell Williamson, and Kyle Farris.
