  Notes	SAMUEL DUARD McLEMORE: The Long and The Short of It. T.F. McLemore lived at 2401 Forrest in Beaumont and Duard lived nearby. He drove past the house every day in his 1935 Ford, which had a very low seat. Duard was rather short, and so his head was also very low (in the car). One day, as he came around the corner headed for home, some person on the front porch (it may have been Emile's wife, Grace) exclaimed "There goes Duard's car, but where's Duard?"
