  Notes	The Sabine County Reporter March 15, 1995, Page 10 Abbie Harvey Abbie Harvill Harvey, 80, of Lufkin died Sunday, March 12, 1995, at her residence. She was born Sept. 2, 1914, in Sabine County as a daughter of the late Lawrence and Lorena (Cooper) Harvill and had lived in Angelina County several years. She was a member of the Denman Avenue Baptist Church in Lufkin. Survivors: husband, Martin Harvey of Lufkin; two daughters, Juanell Beckham of Hemphill and Helen Williams of Pineland; sons and daughters-in-law, Wyman and Louise Tompkins and Jerry and Ruby Tompkins, all of San Augustine, Jimmy and Mary Ann Tompkins of Marietta, Georgia, Tommy and Barbara Tompkins of Longview, and Larry and Annette Tompkins of Lufkin; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc in Hemphill with Bro. Vance R. Purtell Sr. and Bro. Don R. Falke officiatin. Interment followed at Cooper Cemetery in Geneva. Grandsons were pallbearers. (Transcribed by Melinda McLemore Strong, April 2009)
