  Notes	The Sabine County Reporter February 1, 1995, Page 10 Joe Dickerson Funeral services for Joe Aaron Dickerson, 84, of San Augustine were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 1995, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Chapel in San Augustine. Masonic graveside rites followed at Liberty Hill Memorial Gardens under the auspices of Redland Masonic Lodge #3. He died Monday, Jan. 2, 1995. Dickerson was a lifelong resident of San Augustine County and a member of the Redland Masonic Lodge #3 in San Augustine. He had formerly served as a district clerk for San Augustine County and an inspector with the Texas Railroad Commission. Survivors: daughters, Mabel Birdwell of Carthage and Mary Lou Alford and Jody Shutter, both of San Augustine; 14 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mittie "Lena" Dickerson, in 1994, and a son, Marvin Dickerson, in 1990. (Transcribed by Melinda McLemore Strong, March 2009)
