Tera Dickerson
Tera Virginia Dickerson, 92, of Pineland died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 1994, at Hines Nursing Center in Pineland.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church, Pineland with Bro. Don Ray Falke and Bro. R.E. Barclay officiating. Interment followed at Woods Cemetery in Burkeville.
Mrs. Dickerson, born Dec. 30, 1901, in San Augustine County as a daughter of the late Hamp and Lula (Byley) Ramsey, she had lived off U.S. Highway 96 in Pineland several years.
She was a retired school teacher for the Pineland Independent School District and had been an active member at the First Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Edgar Dickerson.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Nona Lee Birdwell of San Augustine, and a host of nieces and nephews.
