Margaret Omega Davison Rush
Margaret Omega Davison Rush, 74, of Hemphill, died Saturday Aug. 16, 2008. She was born October 18, 1933 in Newton County and was a longtime resident of Hemphill. Before retirement, Ms. Rush owned and operated various restaurants and diners in the Sabine County area. She was a member of East Mayfield Baptist Church in Hemphill.
Survivors: five daughters, Gwen Coplen, Sally Butler, Bonnie Conn, Margaret Quick, and Billie Gilcrease; sons-in-law, Edd Coplen, Ronny Butler, Steve Conn, and Jerry Gilcrease; grandchildren: Chad Conn, Ronda Butler Harkey, Wesley Conn, Leslie Butler Todd, Clint Conn, Kari Gilcrease Hoelscher, James Coplen, Jared Gilcrease, Meagan Butler, Macie Quick, and Jamie Quick; great-grandchildren, Kiersten Conn, Bo Conn, Sawyer Conn, Trinity Conn, Raelee Conn, Rhett Harkey and Reid Todd.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 18 at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home.
Services were under the direction of Starr Funeral Home, Hemphill.
