  Notes	Cass City Chronicle Thursday, June 28, 1962 Vol. 56, Number 11 Heart Attack Fatal For Area Resident Funeral services for William George McKenzie, 80, Elkland township farmer, were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Douglas Funeral Home. The Rev. S.R. Wurtz, pastor of the EUB Church, of which Mr. McKenzie was a member, officiated and burial was in Elkland Cemetery. Mr. McKenzie died at this home Thursday of a heart attack. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel McKenzie, he was born at Gagetown Sept. 16, 1881. He was married to Elizabeth BLADES. She died Jan. 16, 1934. In June 1939 he married Mrs. Alma Schenck, who survives him. Other survivors are: one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Marie) JONES of Decker; two grandsons; a great-grandchild; two stepchildren, Mrs. Jack ESAU of Cass City and Donald SCHENCK of Napolean, Mich,; six stepgrandchildren, and a brother, Robert McKenzie of New Haven, Mich.
