  Notes	In 1850, she was living in the home of Levy and Elizabeth Ashcroft in Shelby County, Texas. In 1910, she was living in Winnsboro, Texas with her daughter and son-in-law, Addie and S. M. Woodard. Mrs. Sue P. McLemore - Quietly passed away at her home in Blooming Grove, Navarro Co TX, on 27 Jan 1916. She was born in the Republic of Texas 79 years ago. She had lived in Sulphur Springs for many years in the long ago. She was the mother and sister of our citizens, Jno. D. Williams and B. F. Ashcroft. Mrs. McLemore came to this city about 1856, was married to Luther Williams who gave his life for the cause of the Southern Confederacy. Subsequently, she married Mr. McLemore, and to that union were born three children: Mrs. S. M. Woodard, James and Luther McLemore. Member of the Methodist church. Funeral services were conducted at the home of B. F. Ashcroft with interment in the Sulphur Springs City cemetery. SULPHUR SPRINGS GAZETTE, 4 Feb 1916.
