- Their first home was made farming the original Divoky place in Saline County. One of the many endeavors Marie and Tom participated in was turning the parlor into a small country store. After leaving the farm the operated the Half-Way Filling Station, located 12 miles east of Milligan. Retiring from the filling station, they settled in Wilber. (Milligan, p 260). They were the parents of Carol Jean Divoky, born in July 1934.
