- Lynell Cordell has the original marriage license from Knox Co. TX which shows that County Judge J.J. Truscot married Miss Sallie Adams and J.M. Martin on Jan. 20, 1892.
Both can be found in separate households at the time of the 1900 census, J. M. in King County, Texas and Sally in Knox County, Texas. Each of them described themselves as "widowed" rather than divorced however.

Lucius Alton (Brudge) Andrews married Ruth Martin on June 1, 1921. Ruth taught school in Crowell High School from 1919-1921. Their son, Tom Alton Andrews, married Dorothy Longfellow in 1949. Their children are Mary Jane and Glenn Thomas.
