  Notes	Cass City Chronicle Thursday, June 4, 1981 Page 10 Claude Wood funeral held Friday Claude Lee Wood, 86, died Wednesday, May 27, at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, where he had been a patient the past four years. He was born Nov. 1, 1894, in Marlette, the son of Joseph and Sarah (Dove) Wood. He came to Cass City with his parents when he was a child. He married Cecile Patterson in Caro Oct. 25, 1923. Following their marriage, they made their home on a farm in Ellington township. Mrs. Wood died Dec. 27, 1973. He served with the U.S. Army Signal Corps in World War I in France and Germany. He was a life member of Tyler Lodge, F&AM, No. 317, of Cass City. He is survived by one son, Robert WOOD of Cass City; one daughter, Mrs. Carlton (Beatrice) RONDO of Caro; one brother, Ernest WOOD of Northville, and five grandchildren. One brother, Herbert, and one sister, Edna, preceded him in death. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at Little's Funeral Home, Cass City. Mr. and Mrs. Wood are native Cass Cityans and attend Salem United Methodist Chruch. They were married in Cass City and Mrs. Wood is the former Cecile Patterson. Guests attended the open house from Northville, North Branch, Marlette, Clio, Perry, Caro and Cass City.
