He is lsited as a veteran of World War II, and an engineer at a Gas Pipeline. The informant was his wife, Mrs. June Laird. On her annotated transcription of the Gravel Hill Cemetery index, Kay Parker McCary notes that he was a Mason, a veteran of the U.S. Navy WWII, and that he shares a double marker with June Laird Strange.
