  Notes	Cass City Chronicle Wednesday, January 8, 1997 Russell Hunt Russell J. Hunt, 83, of Farmington Hills, died Monday, December 23, 1996, in Botsford Hospital. He was born February 12, 1913, in Cass City, to Harry and Minnie (Burg) Hunt. He married Sibyl Kern in 1943 in Chicago, IL. He attended Michigan State Normal and Colorado University, taught in New Baltimore, served in the Navy, then taught in Redford in Detroit. Surviving are his wife, Alice, a sister, Catherine WYMAN of Trenton, and a niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma who taught in Cass City, and one brother, Lewis, who was a florist in Cass City. Funeral services were held Friday, December 27, at Heeney Sunquist Funeral Home with the Rev. John Trate officiating. Interment was in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorial services will be held later. The wedding took place at high noon in Chicago June 16. The bride's home was in Minnesota before she came to Chicago where she has been employed. Russell is serving in the Navy and is stationed at the University of Chicago. He was graduated with the class of 1935 in Cass City and attended Michigan state college at East Lansing, later teaching four years at New Baltimore.
