      Opal Hammock

      Opal Hammock, 86, of Lakeland, FL, died September 4, 2007 in Valencia Hills Health and Rehabilitation. She was born Jan. 25, 1951 (sic) in Brookeland to Larkin Chivers Eddins and William Hattie Tatum. She was a housekeeping supervisor and a member of the Church of God. Survivors: daughter, Judy Hammock of Lakeland, FL; sister, Bernice McDonald of Shelbyville, and one grandchild Taylor Anzo. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 8 at Starr Funeral Home with Rev. Vance Purtell officiating. Interment followed at Hemphill Cemetery.
