  Notes	THE STRIFFLER-BENKELMAN BROADCAST-1961, reported that John Jezewski had graduated from Cass City High School in June, 1961. The STRIFFLER-BENKELMAN BROADCAST, published September 3, 1962, reported that he was stationed in Fort Benning, Georgia. CASS CITY CHRONICLE Thursday, August 23, 1962 Page Two Services Held for John Jezewski, 19 Funeral services were held Saturday at Little's Funeral Home for Pfc. John Wayne Jezewski, 19, Cass City, following his death Tuesday, August 14, in a Bennettsville, S.C., hospital for injuries suffered in Army-Air Force maneuvers in that area. Born July 23, 1943, in Cass City, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jezewski, Cass City. He was a 1961 graduate of Cass City High School and joined the Army September 11, 1961. He was attached to Company C of the Armored Division. Surviving besides his parents, are; one brother, James, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Joos, all of Cass City. Rev. S.R. Wurtz officiated and full military honors were accorded Pfc. Jezewski by the Tri-County Post No. 507, American Legion, Cass City. Interment was in Elkland Cemetery.   	Cass City Chronicle Thursday, April 8, 1965 Page Three Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jezewski were honored at a surprise party for their 25th wedding anniversary Saturday, April 3, in the Evangelical United Brethren church basement. Fifty persons attended the party which was give by Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jezewski and Mrs. Maurice Joos. Guests came from Pigeon, Caro and Cass City. George Dillman provided entertainment, and refreshments were served. The couple received many gifts. Mrs. Jezewski was born in Detroit April 21, 1917. He is service manager at Auten Motors, where he has been employed for 20 years. Mrs. Jezewski is the former Helen Joos and was born Aug. 20, 1920 in Cass City. They were married in the EUB parsonage at Cass City by the Rev. Mr. Holsapple. They have one son, Jim Lee Jezewski of Cass City. Another son, John Wayne, died several years ago.
