He organized some of the oldest Baptist Churches in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. He was a Missionary Baptist minister and a farmer. He was received by letter into the fellowship of Salem Church, Old Town, Lauderdale County, Mississippi. Biography, copied from his FindAGrave Memorial page, maintained by Terry Rasberry: Harvey was the son of Peter Edgeah and Eleanor Brunson of SC. He married the former Martha Elizabeth White about 1823 in SC. Harvey moved first to TN, then to Lauderdale Co., MS. He was a Missionary Baptist minister and organized some of the oldest Baptist churches in that area. By letter, he was received into the fellowship of Salem and Old Town churches in Lauderdale Co., MS.
