- Mrs. Doris Eddings, age 88, passed from this life, on Sunday, December 2, 2012, in Lufkin.
Doris was born on August 9, 1924, in Colorado City,(Mitchell County) Texas to Eula Forrest (Myers) and William Leslie Hamilton. She was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and enjoyed working in her yard. She was a member of the Rosevine Missionary Baptist Church in Rosevine.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel in San Augustine, with interment following in the McMahan's Chapel Cemetery in Sabine County. Bro. Cliff Durham and Bro. Gaylon Eddings will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, beginning at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, 316 West Columbia Street, San Augustine, Texas 75972
Those who are left to cherish her memory include: Daughters: Dayna Wesney Page and her husband, Mike of Livingston; Gina Jones and her husband, Bobby, of Diboll; and Jan Farmer and her husband, Ken of Pasadena; Grandchildren: Jared Wesney, Jeff and Rachel Wesney, Jordan Wesney, Travis Jones, Jodi and John Jordan, Jamie and Shea Smith, Trey Jones, Katie and Max Dickinson, and Kevin Farmer; Great-Grandchildren; Brady Jordan (Shalyn Jones), Jaxon Jordan, Kade Jordan, Asa Jordan and Taylor JOnes, Raylei Smith, Reyce Smith, Ryane Smith, Caleb Dickinson, Paige Wesney, Jackson Wesney, and James Wesney; Sister: EmmyGagnon of Dallas; Sister-in-law: Martha Hamilton of Friona, Tx, and Nancy Eddings Cunningham of Pasadena.
Preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Eddings; Sister, Margie Hicks and a brother, Glyn Hamilton
Pallbearers will include John Jordan, Max Dickerson, Travis Jones, Jared Wesney, Shea Smith, Jess Wesney, along with Honorary Pallbearers including Trey Jones, Kevin Farmer and Jordan Wesney
