- Col . R. D. Hooker, Jr. writes that "Price P. McLemore, b. 1840 and died probably in TN in 1876. He served in Co A 11th Miss Vol In, the famous "University Greys" (the entire Ole Miss student body, who enlisted in 1861), and was captured 2 days before Lee's surrender in Virginia in 1865."
