Duvergn Elizabeth Wills
Duvergn Elizabeth Birdwell Wills, 67, of Rosevine died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1996 at Medical Center Hospital in Nacogdoches.
A longtime resident of Sabine County, she was born Jan. 30, 1928, in San Augustine County. She was a member of Rosevine Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors: sons, John Keith Falkenberry of Woodville and Miles Falkenberry of Willis; two sisters, Izora PETERSON of Dobbin and Billie CAIN of Caldwell; seven grandchidlren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc in Hemphill, Bro. Milton Powell officiating. Interment followed at Low's Chapel Cemetery in Sabine County.

The Graduating Class of 1945-presented a check for $1,250 to the San Augustine Garden Club Courthouse Restoration Project. The Class of 1945 presentation (was) in memory of deceased members whose names will be entered into the "Restoration Memory Book" and available for viewing. The memorial includes members of the class: Jewel Dean WHITEHEAD Duncan, LaVern CONN Lister, Duverne BIRDWELL Falkenberry, Myrtle WALTON Poole, Irion BATE, Herbert WOODS, Laurie "Boo" MATHEWS, Haven EVETT, Kenneth HALBERT, Charles WITHERS, Willie Bue EPPS Byley, Nelwyn CARTER, Kathryn HANKS Perry, Alice Joy WILLIAMS Gallo, Pay HENRY Fussell, Mary Beth ALLEN Walker, and Class Sponsors Bruce GOLDMAN and Brooksie HOLT Kennever.
