Her passions in life were cooking, quilting, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Coleman, and Charles Edward Hildabrant; and siblings, Kennon Birdwell, Norman Birdwell, Audrey Drawhorn, Mattie Lou Breaux, Bertha Mae McMurray, and Ruby Murphy. She is survived by her children, Douglas Coleman, John David Coleman, Debbie J. Welch and husband Billy, Dewisa Coleman, and Tracey Dowdle and husband, Chad; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Winfred Birdwell and wife, Vivian, and Carlo Birdwell and wife, Helen.
