  Notes	The Sabine County Reporter July 5, 1995, Page 8 Benena Mae Smith, 80, of Buna died Monday, June 5, 1995, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Orange. She, a native a Hemphill, had lived in Buna for several years. Survivors: daughters, Dorothy Hayes and Suzan Gentry, both of Beaumont, and Mary Blackburn of Buna; and step-daughters, Miram Patrick of Jacksonville and Reba Gill of Buna. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of Stringer Funeral Home in Buna.
