Willie Hawthorne, 77, of Kirbyville died Sunday, July 17, 1988 at Kirbyville Community Hospital. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Causey?s E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial in Magnolia Springs Cemetery. A native of Jasper County, he lived in Beaumont 43 years before moving to Kirbyville nine years and was a retired automotive machinist. Survivors include his wife, Reba Daugherty Hawthorne of Kirbyville; a brother, Robert Hawthorne of Pine Grove; and two sisters, Annie Wilson of Evadale and Rosie Cady of Beaumont.
