  Notes	Dau. of Henry WOODWARD, afterwards of Northhampton, and "one of the pillars of the church," there, and Elizabeth, his wife. (Dwight, p 669). The Strong Family Association of America website further notes that "Martin Smith of Pocumtuck, was fined 20s for trying to kiss Freedom (Woodward) Strong on the street. She was 32 at the time and the mother of 8 children. Her father, Henry Woodward, was a physician and was licensed to sell wines and liquors and had a grist mill in Northampton."
