Gay died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Effie Williams in Walters. She was born Sept. 11, 1864 in Banner, Miss., and was married Dec. 24, 1882. Two of her children preceded her. She was a charter member of the Emerson church. She is survived by Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Fred DeSpain and Alvie of Walters, Mrs. Ed Cason and Mrs. Bernice King of Frederick and Mrs. Willie Clarkson of Vernon, Tex. Services were held at Walters. The Walters Herald Mar. 19, 1936
