  Notes	Obituary: Yvonne (Arieux) Kotas, 91, passed away on November 18, 2016 in Lincoln. She was born on April 6, 1925, in New Orleans. She retained her love of her first home, enjoying the music and culture of the city. She dedicated her life to raising her three children and supporting her husband in his business. She was a devout Catholic, and attended mass at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ after moving to Lincoln. She had a great sense of humor and loved conversing with those around her, quickly putting them at ease and bringing a smile to their faces. Yvonne is survived by her son, Ken and daughter-in-law, Kate Mathias, of Lincoln; her daughter, Carla and son-in-law, Henry Lewis, of Moretown, Vt.; her daughter, Geri and son-in-law, Steve Hogroian, of St. John, U.S.V.I.; two grandsons, Trevor and Tyler Lewis of Moretown; and one granddaughter,, Julia Hogroian, of St. John. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Joseph Kotas of Milligan, and her parents, Leopold and Mabel Arieux of New Orleans. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A St., Lincoln. A private burial will follow. (Courtesy of Dennis Belohlavy)
