  Notes	Obituary (from FindAGrave) James J. Girmus was born April 13, 1883 near Milligan, Nebr. He died at the General Hospital in Geneva on Friday morning, March 26, 1943, at the age of 59 years, 11 months, and 19 days. October 29, 1907, he was married to Anna Matejka. To this union twelve children were born, Joe is in the Army overseas, Emil, Jim, Mrs. Ervin Odvody; Mrs Hubert Koehn, Ed, Frank, Bill, and the rest at home*. five grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Albert Simacek, also survive. His brothers, Frank and Emil, preceded him in death. He has farmed all his life in Fillmore County, except five years in Wyoming where he took up a homestead. * also includes John, Rudolph, Raymond, and Adolph.
