| McLemore, Britain Sanders, Jr. News photo and fragment of article from the Memphis Commercial Appeal regarding the Hunt-Berlin coal company. The fragmentary article is in the possession of his great-grandson, John David McLemore. Though Britain is not identified by name in the fragment, John David is sure this is a photo of Britain McLemore, which is why it was preversed by his family over the years. Britain's death certificate confirms he was a manager at the Hunt-Berlin Coal company. This article was published two years prior to Britain's death in 1944. |
