- They were the parents of Della, Anna, Alex, Wm., Liddie, Curtis, Ola and Dixon. Della, Anna, Alex, and Liddie were school teachers. Wm. was in the furniture business, having a chain of strores. Curtis became a construction engineer, but dropped out of sight, and it is now known if he is living or dead. Anna Crouch m Otha Hammond; Ola m Norman Ball; Liddie m Zebbie Williams. She earned her Bachelor and Master degree from Stephen F. Austin State College and taught for many yeas. (White and Toole, p 53).
