- Bennie Zahn writes that the list of their children was gleaned from three sources, those names contained in legal property documents, those furnished through church records in France, and through the research of John and Brenda Holliman conducted in France. When Dominique died, there was an exchange of correspondence and legal documents between French lawyers and Lucine Roquevert Morlas. These documents indicate that all of the sons were deceased as of 1916, leaving one nephew in France and the children of Louis Roquevert in New Orleans as heirs. After many years of careful consideration and a personal visit to meet the relatives in France, Lucine as spokesperson for the family deeded the property interest to the nephew in France. It is not known if either of the two presumed daughters of Dominque had children, though records indicate that at least one had married.
