Artie Birdwell Pike
Artie Birdwell Pike, 84, of Garrison died Sept. 23, 1999, in Garrison.
Mrs. Pike was born Jun 27, 1915 in Bronson as a daughter of the late Elbert and Evie Roberts Birdwell.
Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Joe Pike of Garrison and David and Tempie Pike of Timpson; two daughters, Peggy Pike of Houston and Patsy Rogers of the Woodlands; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Pike; a son, Carol Pike; and a daughter, Jimmie Lou Curbow.
Funeral services were held Sept. 24 at the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Timpson with Bro. Norman McDonald officiating. Interment followed at Corinth Cemetery near Timpson.
