Onie Mae Ener
Onie Mae Ener, 85, of Yellowpine community died Monday, Aug. 21, 1995, at Medical Center Hospital in Nacogdoches.
She was born Jan. 17, 1910 in Sabine County as a daughter of the late William Robert and Mittie Z. (McNaughten) Smith and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and member of the Harvest Assembly of God.
Survivors: husband, Willie F. Ener of Yellowpine; a son, David Ener of Yellowpine; two daughters, Kathy Burdette and Gaynell Arney, both of Hemphill; a daughter-in-law, Lillian Ener of Yellowpine; two brothers, Eldon Smith of Wilmington, Delaware, and Emmitt Smith of Pineland; a sister, Lucille Haire of Jasper; a sister-in-law, Ellie Smith of Jasper; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Ener.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill with Bro. Winford Ener and Bro. W. P. Murchison officiating. Interment followed at Yellowpine Cemetery.
