William H. Smith Succumbs at 84
Bronson, Tex., Aug. 30 (Special)
William H. Smith, 84, died today at this home here after a lengthy illness. He was a retired farmer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Starr Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Howell officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Sinia Cemetery.
Survivors are this widow: four sons, Hilrey Smith of Trinity, Noble Smith of Leesville, La., Will Smith of Hemphill, and S. Furrell Smith of Kirbyville; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Perkins of DeRidder, La., and Mrs. Sybil Smith of Hemphill; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Ellis Savell of Bronson, Mrs. Cordelia Worrell and Mrs. Susie O'Banion of Hemphill; four step-sons, Bob Cunningham of Hemphill, Tom and Henry Cunningham of Idaho, and Fate Cunningham of Bronson; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
