Dorothy Marie Whiteman, 82, of Timpson, Texas (formerly of Bronson, Texas) passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 at Pine Grove Nursing Home in Center, Texas. Dorothy was born in Hemphill, Texas on December 1, 1940 to L. C. Eddins and Dorothy Collier Eddins. She worked in nusing many years as an L.V. N. at Marshall Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her daughters, Tina Roddy and husband, Richard, of Timpson, Kim Whiteman of Tyler and Stacy Whiteman, also of Tyler; brothers, Bobby Eddins of Center; sisters, Nancy Drew of Center and Faye Smith of Kansas; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Eddins. Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
