At the time of his death he was married and his home address was Sour Lake, Texas. He was listed as a farmer, and the son of Plummer Tatom and Ella E. Dent. The informant was Lee Roy Tatom, son.
Kay Parker McCary, on her annotated transcription of the Spring Hill Cemetery, instead shows him as the son of Isaac Walter Tatom and Anna Mariah Ener, and furhter shows that he married Lillie M. Bonneau.
